DCPC HAS BREAKFAST WITH THE PRESIDENT…OF THE RIBA
David Charles Property Consultants are members of the Pinner Property Circle a local group of property professionals that meet informally on a monthly basis and have done so for many years. The purpose of the group is to share information, ideas and problems we have encountered during the course of our business lives.
The group of local property professionals is made up of Peter Amstell (David Charles Property Consultants – Chartered Surveyors), Andrew Rhodes (Sobell Rhodes – Chartered Accountants), Warren Baker (David Charles Estate Agents), James Bloom (Regentsmead Development Finance), Jeremy Garson (Curry Popeck – Solicitors), Robin Sutton (IDS Financial Services), Dan Rhodes (Daniel Rhodes & Associates – Marketing and Brand Consultants) and Jane Duncan (Jane Duncan Associates Architects).
For those of you who may not be aware, Jane Duncan was elected President of the Royal Institute of British Architects on 1 September 2015. Understandably Jane has taken a back seat in the property professionals group during her presidency, but took the time to invite us to have our regular breakfast meeting in the President’s Office, a rare opportunity that we were pleased to accept.
Our breakfast meetings always covers a wide range of topics predominately property and business related. This meeting’ topics included the UK property market and its possible future trend, collaboration on mandatory Continuing Professional Development between the RIBA, RICS and Law Society and the Garden Bridge project.
I would like to thank Jane and the RIBA for their hospitality and look forward to the next meeting of local property professionals, which usually take place in Carpentier Delicatessen in Pinner a slightly less formal environment.
