David Charles Property Consultants was established in 1994. Based in Pinner in North West London, we are a small, friendly commercial property company putting excellent service and professionalism at the heart of everything we do.

Who are David Charles?

Operating as property consultants, property management experts and commercial estate agents, our team can advise you and your business, whatever your property management needs. We deal with everything you would expect from a commercial property company.

Our Credentials

David Charles Property Consultants was founded by director Peter Amstell, BSc MRICS, who has over 30 years’ experience in the commercial property sector. Colleagues Gary Blatt and George Moriarty are all experts in the field.

As Chartered Surveyors we meet the rules and regulations of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). This gives our clients the peace of mind that we are meeting all of the RICS high standards. Membership means that we are subject to periodic reviews to ensure that we are meeting this industry standard.

Our property managers constantly update their knowledge with regular training, as well as keeping abreast of the latest legislative updates and industry news.

At the core of our commercial property company is honesty, integrity, professionalism and a passion for excellent service.

At David Charles our quality of service and attention to our clients needs are paramount. We are a small but experienced and highly committed team. We achieve results through providing a fully comprehensive service in a professional and personable manner whether clients are owners or occupiers.

Peter Amstell BSC MRICS

Peter established the company in 1994 having previously worked in the West End of London. He has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of commercial property and is responsible for agency and professional instructions. His detailed approach and plain speaking is key to long-standing relationships he has with his clients.

George Moriarty

George is a director of the agency department and works alongside Peter. He has a broad range of clients from various sectors and is well versed in the London and Home Counties commercial property market. George is responsible for the day to day operation of the agency business and enjoys working with clients both new and old, assisting with all property-related matters. George is currently working towards completing his APC to become a Chartered Surveyor having gained his Real Estate BSc (Hons) in 2019.

Gary Blatt
Senior Property Manager

Joining the practice in 2004 Gary has overseen the growth of the residential management department which has quickly gone from strength to strength largely by word of mouth promotion. With a strong commercial background, Gary strives to deliver an excellent service to all clients both directly and via the team he manages.

Joel Barnett
Senior Property Manager

Joel joined David Charles Property Consultants in 2021 and brought with him a wealth of experience in property management to further support the management department of the practice. He has a detailed approach and will always take the time to assist and support our clients.

Lily O’Donnell

Lily joined the practice in 2021 as a negotiator in the agency department. She has an in-depth knowledge of the market, the properties and the applicants. She is studying for her degree in estate management to become a chartered surveyor.

Carole Boyle
Head of Accounts Department

Carole joined the practice in 2000 and is responsible for the accounting team and is an integral part of the business. Carole prepares all financial statements including the year end service charge accounts for submission to accountants. She controls the rental income from all commercial properties dealing directly with landlords and banks. Carole ensures that all financial transactions are carried out swiftly, diligently, and within the RICS guidelines.

Diana Rubin
Senior Accounts Administrator

Diana has been with us since 2007 and is the accounts administrator. She reconciles the bank accounts, makes supplier and contractors payments and ensures that all service charges are paid up-to-date. Her meticulous and thorough approach is essential which ensures we have an excellent track record in collecting payments with minimal arrears across our clients’ portfolio.

Jessica Domingos
Office Administrator

Jessica joined the practice in 2019 as our office administrator and is usually the first to answer your call. She prepares mailings and ensures all our records are kept up-to-date. Supporting the busy team, Jessica is vital to the smooth running of the office.

Leena Mehta
Finance Assistant

Leena joined in March 2022. She works on all reconciliations for both commercial and residential accounts. She produces landlord statements and raises payments to ensure our contractors and suppliers are paid on time.

Sheetal Patel
Accounts Assistant

Sheetal is the accounts assistant working alongside Carole, Diana and Leena. Sheetal works within the accounts department, inputting data, allocating cheque payments, filing and archiving.
