We recently mentioned about our very own golf enthusiast, Diana, taking part in a worthy charity golf event. The challenge has been completed and it’s fair to say that everyone involved did an amazing job raising over £35,000 for charity!
The challenge saw Diana, Ruth, Lindsay, Julia and Mandy play 4 rounds of golf at 4 different courses; Finchley, Hendon, Mill Hill and Dyrham Park Golf Clubs. Raising money for The Alzheimers Society and Ovarian Cancer Research via Genesis of which Mandy has personally been affected by both.
The golf marathon started at 4.30am on Monday 7th September and after much fun, laughter and a lot of effort – the team completed the challenge at 7.30pm. You will see them celebrating in the video below which no doubt felt like sheer victory!
